We recently had the pleasure of spending some time with Justin Miles to explore the epic scenery of North Wales. The weather was changeable, to say the least, with rain, hail, snow and bright sunshine.
Our journey took us towards Carnedd Llewelyn, the second highest peak in Wales. As we ventured around the base of the mountain, we stumbled across Ogwin waterfall which is fed from Llyn Ogwin. The stunning views of the Ogwin Valley are complemented by the towering peak of Pen Yr Ole Wen which is the seventh highest mountain in Wales.
Ogwin Valley lies to the south of Bangor and is bordered on one side by the Glyderau mountain range and on the other side by the Carneddau where the River Ogwen separates the two mountain ranges.
Justin packed his Karrimor SF Predator Patrol 45 for the hike. The Patrol 45 is equipped with a concealable waist belt, a quick release buckle and is PLCE compatible which make this backpack the perfect complement to your next hiking trip.
